About the Job

We are seeking an experienced AEM DevOps Engineer to build, automate, and operate reliable Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platforms at scale. This role focuses on CI/CD automation, cloud infrastructure, security, and operational excellence, working closely with AEM development and architecture teams to ensure stable, performant, and secure AEM environments across all stages of delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support AEM environments (Author, Publish, Dispatcher) across development, staging, and production.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AEM using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Automate build, test, deployment, and configuration processes for AEM applications.
• Provision, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure for AEM on AEM as a Cloud Service and/or Adobe Managed Services (AMS).
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools.
• Ensure platform availability, scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Configure and optimize Dispatcher, CDN, caching, and load balancing strategies.
• Apply strong knowledge of AEM architecture to support environment design, deployments, and troubleshooting.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting; proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Manage upgrades, patches, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
• Apply security best practices including SSL, WAF, secrets management, and access controls.
• Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and runtime issues across environments.
• Coordinate directly with clients and stakeholders to support releases, incidents, and operational requirements.
• Collaborate closely with AEM developers, architects, security, and platform teams.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and deployment standards.
• Participate in incident management and on-call support as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong background supporting Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) in enterprise-scale environments.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and modern CI/CD workflows.
• Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Adobe AEM DevOps or Cloud certifications are a plus.

Requirements

• Hands-on expertise with AEM architecture, including Author, Publish, Dispatcher, and replication patterns.
• Strong experience with Dispatcher configuration, caching strategies, rewrite rules, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools, scripting languages, and infrastructure-as-code technologies.
• Experience with cloud services, containerization, monitoring, and logging tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
